A car parking shade structure with HDPE fabric roofing supported by a combined steel pipe and steel tube framing system, the roof of which resembles a pyramid. The roofing is bounded by either pipes or cables/wire ropes that are connected to the framing

Hip Type

A car parking shade structure with a hip roof made of HDPE fabric roofing supported by steel pipes. The boundary element is typically stainless or galvanized cable/wire rope and the fabric sewn around the edges

Curved Type

A car parking shade structure with a curved roof made of either HDPE or PVC fabric supported by a curved cantilever beam and straight or curved front and rear beams. The roofing may be bounded by cables/wire ropes or a keder (a PVC rope) system and in some cases, is directly connected to the framing using self-drilling screws driven through flat aluminium bars

Conical Type

A car parking shade structure with a cone-shaped roof. The HDPE or PVC roofing is formed to shape using wire ropes and in some cases, pipes.  The roofing may be bounded by cables/wire ropes or a keder (a PVC rope) system and in some cases, is directly connected to the framing using self-drilling screws driven through flat aluminium bars

Sail Type

A car parking shade structure with the simplest roof shape (i.e. resembling a boat’s sail, rectangular or triangular). Both HDPE and PVC material can be used for the roofing. The boundary element is usually cable. This type usually requires that the roofing connection points be at different levels to achieve the shape

Wavy Type

A car parking shade structure consisting of a series of curved roofs with trough and crest as of a wave. The roofing may be HDPE or PVC which is fixed on roof steel framing using a keder system or aluminium flat bar system as in the curved type shade structure
